Essential oils are the most concentrated essence of the plant, and have been found to have anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. Aromatherapy is based on the principal of the Power of Smell and its effects on people's moods.

How Does Essential Oil Work?

Essential oil acts on the olfactory nerves, which lead from the nose to the brain. There are two ways in which our body reacts to smell. First, the learned odor response reminds us of a particular person, place or feeling when we smell it. Secondly, our body Reacts to Smell by triggering a specific neurochemical release in the brain.
