Cypress
A tall evergreen tree with slender branches and a statuesque conical shape. It bears small flowers and round brownish-grey cones or nuts
Antiseptic, antispasmodic, antirheumatic, antisudorific, astringent, circulatory tonic, deodorant, diuretic, hepatic, sedative, vasoconstrictor.
Immune System: Cellulite, oedema, flu.
Genito-Urinary System: Dysmenorrhoea, menopausal problems, menorrhagia.
Digestive System: Diarrhoea, liver problems, pyorrhoea. Muscular/Skeletal System: Muscular cramps, muscle and joint problems, rheumatism.
Nervous System: Nervous tension, stress and grief.
Respiratory System: Asthma, bronchitis, spasmodic coughing, whooping cough.

Cypress blends well with Benzoin, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Juniper, Lemon, Lavender, Mandarin, Marjoram and Sandalwood.

Pregnancay. When I did my training in England, we were taught (Referred to Patricia Davis) this oil contravened the contraceptive pill and should also be avoided in any kind of ovarian or breast disease.
