An evergreen woody shrub, up to 1 metre tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves and violet-blue flowers. The whole plant is highly aromatic.

Genito-Urinary System: Cystitis, dysmenorrhoea, leucorrhoea, thrush. Immune System: Colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections.
Muscular/Skeletal System: Arthritis, muscular aches and pain, rheumatism, lumbago, sprains.
Nervous System: Anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress, headaches, migraine, nervous tension, PMT, sciatica, shock, vertigo.

Lavender blends well with most oils but especially the citrus and floral oils. Also Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Geranium, Marjoram, Rosemary, Patchouli and Vetiver.
Floral, herbaceous, sweet scent with balsamic woody undertone.
Avoid use during the first trimester of pregnancy.
